EDSL is a UK based Consultancy Company primarily focused on visual communications. The Managing Director is Ray King who formed the company in 2000 after leaving PictureTel - where he was the Director and General Manager of a major European Division. Ray has extensive experience of working within the video communications industry over many years and is a well known figure and recognised industry expert. EDSL has been instrumental in the success of Vodafone who heavily rely on visual communications to conduct their business.

EDSL consultants are all highly experienced and their key focus is always on fully understanding the business requirements of customers. By adopting a pragmatic approach they are able to develop a sound business strategy to assist companies in realising the full benefits of visual communications. They also possess strong Project Management skills which ensure timely completion of all tasks and are always fully committed to success.

Ray King has worked in the video industry for 34 years and was involved in the early development of videoconferencing and video streaming during the 90 s. Ray became Technical Director and VP for services at PictureTel in 1998.

In 2001 Ray set up EDSL as his own independent consultancy company and is using his extensive experience to assist organisations in realising the full potential of visual communications.

Ray is renowned in the industry for his work in Vodafone as a trusted consultant that has resulted in a highly advanced video network of over 1,200 VC units and reported usage of over 1.6 million minutes per month.

This performance has resulted in a significant cost saving and improved productivity.
