Ray King Ray has worked in the Video Industry for 32 years and for the last 14 years he has specialised primarily in the area of Video communications. In 1992 Ray worked with the Intel Corporation on the development of the first digital video card for the PC market. He then went on to partner with Starlight Networks, who developed Video on Demand servers and also, in 1996, an IP multicaster. In 1998 PictureTel acquired Starlight Networks and, following a short period of consultancy, Ray joined as Technical Director for the European division which developed and marketed Streaming applications and Web Portals aimed at improving the way people use Video Conferencing. It also had a professional Conference Services area which focused on organising and managing Video Conference meetings for large corporations. In 2000 Ray was promoted to Director and General Manager for this division. In 2001 Ray set up EDSL as his own independent consultancy company and is using his extensive experience to assist organisations in realising the full potential of Video Conferencing and Video Streaming for their operations.
